Memberships

The last year and a half has been quite the learning experience for Actors Bridge. We are grateful to know that we can provide meaningful and productive Meisner classes via Zoom and that folks will show up for Script Reading Book Club even though we aren’t allowed to tell them the title of the play. And, we learned how essential recurring donations are in helping us cover basic expenses when times are hard.

We know that even though we have returned to in-person classes and performances, it will take a while to rebuild our student body and robust ticket sales. Recurring donations will be key to our ongoing success and longevity. We love the idea of providing our beloved supporters with multiple levels of sustaining memberships, so you can choose the option that works best for you.

Becoming a member does two things. It helps us provide matching funds for our grants (most of them require a dollar-for-dollar match or we have to give the money back), and it means that when we stand up before a panel of potential funders, we can say we have ‘x’ number of members who believe in our work enough to support us financially. In turn, this will help us increase programming, offer higher artist salaries to actors, directors, and designers, and take risks on new work while keeping our ticket and tuition prices reasonable.
