Synopsis: HONOUR distills the chaos of infidelity and separation into an elegant, razor-sharp theatrical experience. What happens when everything you have used to define yourself—every role, belief, and affiliation—suddenly abandons you? What happens when a mature, intelligent, responsible, and loving woman finds her life disappearing?
Gus and Honour have been happily married for thirty-two years. She was a successful poet; he is a revered political columnist. They share a deep understanding of one another—until they don’t. When Gus leaves Honour for a younger woman, the fallout is swift and devastating, exposing fault lines not only in their marriage but across their family.
Told through the perspectives of three women—the wife, the girfriend, and the daughter—HONOUR interrogates the assumptions and contradictions each brings to love, power, and identity. With wit and emotional precision, the play explores timeless themes of ambition, sacrifice, infidelity, sexual politics, and the casual cruelty of youth, revealing how quickly certainty can dissolve—and what remains when it does.

Venue: Auditions, rehearsals and performances will be held at Actors Bridge Studio (behind Darkhorse Theater, 4610 Charlotte Ave; entrance on 47th).
Payment: All actors will receive a $1000 stipend for the production.
Format: In-person auditions; reading from the script. Sides will be available in advance after signing up for an audition time. Please bring a headshot and resume if available.

Rehearsals: Begin May 21, 2026 by Zoom and May 25 in person. In-person rehearsals are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings from 6-10 pm. plus Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 11am-5pm until tech week. TECH WEEK is Sunday-Thursday, June 14-18, 6-10 p.m.
Performances: Friday – Sunday, June 19-21; Thursday – Saturday, June 25-28.
All performances are at 7:00 p.m. except Sundays which are at 5 p.m.
