Teenage girls hear lots of cultural messages to “sit down and shut up.” Act Like a GRRRL gives them the tools to “stand up and speak out.” We create safe spaces for young women to develop strong voices, name their feelings, articulate their beliefs, and tell their stories uncensored and uninterrupted, in an environment of mutual love and support. We invite them to defy the cultural narratives that divide and diminish them. We give their courage a place to grow.

More than ever, we must nurture brave voices, giving girls tools for transformation and platforms to embody the change they want to be in the world.
