For adventurous young performers ages 8+
July 10-14, 9am-3pm
Spend a week this summer exploring the wide world of entertaining while encountering dance, puppetry, juggling, tumbling, comedy, improv, clowning, aerial arts and more in this extraordinary new immersive arts adventure hosted by the producers of the annual Sideshow Fringe Festival!
Facilitated by professional actress and puppeteer, Cassie Hamilton of Sailors & Maidens, and augmented by a cadre of Nashville’s premiere performing arts experts and stars of the Sideshow Fringe, this unique new immersive camp will offer its members the rare opportunity to both observe professional artists in process through special invitation to Sideshow Fringe rehearsals and receive hands on mentoring in circus skills in small group settings.
Each day will feature a different circus skill in addition to movement activities and acting training. The camp will culminate in a sharing of the camp ensemble’s work on the evening of July 14th at 7pm.
