Jill started teaching while still in college at the behest of her own voice teacher.  She spent her twenties on stage and camera in Los Angeles, Miami and moved to Nashville in 1989.  She taught voice and articulation and acting classes at Ruth Sweet’s famed The Acting Studio at TPAC.  Jill opened the Dramatic Arts Studio in the mid-1990’s and it was open for almost four years. She began dialect and dialogue (acting) coaching for film and TV as well.

As well as working as dialogue (acting) coach, Jill has been dialect coach on several features and tv productions and has worked with Academy award-winning directors Bruce Beresford and Sidney Lumet. She has coached Sharon Stone in several film projects as well as numerous other actors including Cary Elwes, Robb Morrow, Gil Bellows, Sir Ian Holm, Lorrie Morgan, Kellie Martin, Antonio Sabato Jr. and Chinese star Shu Qi.  She currently works with actors all over the globe and has numerous clients in Norway and Denmark, Germany as well as Russia, Ukraine, and Turkey.

Jill works with many actors in LA (where she resided from 2009 until returning to Nashville in March 2018) and many of them are also from countries all over the world. She recently coached a lead character in “Stranger Things” and upcoming major projects. Jill LOVES what she does.
