Waking up the day after the election felt like waking up in a changed America. RALLY/CRY is a theatrical attempt to articulate the unthinkable circumstances in which we find ourselves so we may take the first steps toward navigating this new world together.
An explosion of responses by some of Nashville premiere writers, dancers, singers, devisers, painters, comedians, clowns, and artist-activists, the evening will offer audiences the opportunity to consider a kaleidoscope of unique perspectives and forge meaningful connections with those taking action against the threats of the incoming administration.
Proceeds to benefit Planned Parenthood of Middle and East Tennessee, Conexion Americas, and Act Like a GRRRL.
RALLY/CRY is night 1 of ABE’s 2 night participation in the National Month Of Outrage. Night 2 is GRRRL Nation.
