Rachel is a Nashville native who has been performing with local theater companies for 20 years. She spent many years reminding everyone of Kathy Bates, until Melissa McCarthy got famous. You may have seen Rachel playing an insane person, a religious fanatic, a murderer, a sassy prostitute, or a wise, wisecracking sidekick, as she likes to play to her strengths. She is a longtime member of Actors Bridge Ensemble where some of her favorite roles include The Book of Liz, Wonder of the World, Kimberly Akimbo, The Underpants, The Laramie Project, The Vagina Monologues, and The Fairytale Lives of Russian Girls and The House of Bernarda Alba, both in collaboration with Belmont. Rachel has also appeared on stage with Circle Players, Act I, 3 P’s, Broadaxe Theater and TN Repertory Theater. If you are already a fan of Nate Eppler (and who isn’t?), you may have seen her play a baby killing shovel murderer in his play Long Way Down. Playing Blondie in The Ice Treatment has been extremely therapeutic and surreal and her favorite thing ever. She is, in reality, fairly well adjusted.
